A multi-purpose medium sharp apple which originated in Devon around 1895, Browns is now widely grown all across the UK. It makes a soft cider with medium body, relying on acidity as it has an abscence of tannins. Light and refreshing. 2021 was an especially good year for Browns as the weather conditions perfectly suited this variety, giving us higher sugars than normal, and more flavour as a result!
